We also support tourism operators, events and Caribbean projects that need printed materials prepared locally in Guadeloupe. What’s blocking your print project

Between mainland suppliers, island printers, and vague quotes — everyone sends you somewhere else

Four blockers Kimoun hears every week — the reason why many events, tourism businesses and independent professionals in Guadeloupe and across the Caribbean give up on professional print for lack of a straightforward point of contact.

  • Ordering from mainland France breaks your schedule

3 to 5 weeks lead time, unpredictable customs, shipping costs that eat into the budget, risk of damage on arrival. And if you missed one detail, you’re back to square one for another month. Your flyers arrive after the event — it has happened to everyone.

Print delivered late is useless — you might as well not order it.

  • Local printers impose minimum order quantities that don't fit your needs

“We don’t do fewer than 500 flyers.” “Minimum 100 t-shirts.” For a 30-member club, a business just launching, or an 80-person event, those thresholds make no sense. You over-order by default and the surplus ends up in storage.

You pay for 500 flyers, you hand out 180 — the rest goes in the bin six months later.

  • Custom textile is presented as too complicated

You want 15 polo shirts for your team? 40 t-shirts for your association? Test 3 samples with different finishes before committing to 200 pieces? You’re quoted a minimum of 100, shown a design you never approved, or told that short runs “aren’t profitable”. Short-run custom textile and sampling remain a grey area locally.

Team identity projects that never happen because no one takes short runs and testing seriously.

  • You don't know which finish to request — and nobody explains

DTF, screen printing, embroidery, heat transfer: workshop vocabulary. Each technique has its price, its look, its durability — but no printer takes the time to explain. You choose blindly, sometimes the wrong finish for your need (screen printing on 5 t-shirts = too expensive; embroidery on a thin sweatshirt = poor result).

A quote with no guidance = a client who regrets it after delivery.

Temporarily reduced capacity

T-shirt and fabric display banner orders are currently reserved for ongoing projects and repeat orders from existing clients. The good news: everything else is available right now, and July is coming fast.

Kimoun’s 6 production pillars

Custom printing services for professionals, events and tourism businesses

Each pillar covers a product category. Kimoun selects between an industrial workshop (volume, price, wide range) and a local craftsman (proximity, urgency, custom finishes) based on your project, then coordinates from start to finish — one point of contact, whether you are based in Guadeloupe or ordering from elsewhere in the Caribbean.

  1. Custom textile (t-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags)

From short run to large run — 5, 50 or 500 pieces — finish options: DTF (Direct to Film, short runs and rich colour results), screen printing (large runs, wash-resistant), embroidery (premium polo shirts and sweatshirts, quality look). Kimoun recommends the finish that matches your quantity, budget and expected result — and explains it upfront. For those hesitating between two techniques, a sample pack lets you compare in hand before committing.

  2. Branded merchandise, stickers & corporate gifts

Mugs, caps, lanyards, pens, event tote bags, die-cut stickers, outdoor vinyl decals. Logo personalisation, no minimum (10 to several thousand), individual packaging available for event distribution.

  3. Professional paper print (business cards, flyers, brochures)

Matt/gloss/soft-touch laminated business cards, A5/A4 double-sided flyers, three-fold leaflets, stapled or perfect-bound brochures, A3/A2/A1 posters. Paper weights up to 350 gsm, coated or uncoated stocks, professional finishes (spot UV, gold foil, embossing on request).

  4. Event large format (pull-up banners, fabric display banners, flags)

Pull-up banners 85×200 or 100×200 cm with carry case for stands and trade shows, fabric display banners for indoor use, folding X-banners, advertising flags (beach flags, pennant flags, pole flags), 3 mm correx board panels for temporary signage. All displays are self-assembly — easy to transport in a car, set up in minutes on site, no installation contractor to coordinate.

  5. Interior & exterior signage

PVC/dibond panels for shop signs, professional plaques, window vinyl (cut lettering or full print), micro-perforated one-way window film, welcome totems, door plaques. Advice on UV resistance and adhesion depending on the surface: glass, masonry or metal.

  6. Graphic design, artwork & print proof (full-service track)

No file ready? No brand guidelines? Kimoun handles the entire creative process: event artwork, campaign layouts, adaptation of your identity across all formats (textile, paper, signage). Press-ready file (CMYK, 300 dpi, bleed, crop marks), print proof sent for written approval before production. Zero surprises at delivery. If you already have print-ready files (technical execution track), we simply check them — no unnecessary design fees.

How it works

A 4-step process, 6 to 12 business days

  1. Brief and quote

    within 48 business hours

You describe your need (product type, quantity, desired delivery date). Kimoun recommends the most suitable finish for your budget and expected result, then sends a firm quote with price, lead time and finish options.

  2. Files and artwork

    1 to 3 days

If you already have files, we check press compliance (CMYK, 300 dpi, bleed). If not, Kimoun creates the artwork within your brand guidelines. Back-and-forth rounds available to adjust before the print proof.

  3. Print proof and production

    4 to 8 days

Proof sent for written approval — nothing goes to production without your sign-off. Once approved, the job goes to the most suitable partner workshop (textile, paper or large format). Quality control at the end of the production run.

  4. Delivery or click & collect

    1 to 2 days

Free delivery in Guadeloupe and Martinique (shipping costs included in our prices) or click & collect in Le Moule. For events, delivery coordinated with your date (day before or morning of, depending on distance) — large-format displays arrive in carry cases, self-assembly in minutes. A small free-correction reserve applies if a manufacturing defect is found.

Why Kimoun

A dual network, selected project by project

Olivier Watte, founder of Kimoun — portrait
Olivier WatteFounder, Kimoun · 25 years of experience

Kimoun is based in Le Moule, Guadeloupe. Olivier Watte, founder, has 20 years on the ground in Guadeloupe and has built over time a dual production partner network: large-capacity industrial workshops (volume, very wide textile and paper catalogue, competitive pricing) and local craftsmen and printers in Guadeloupe (proximity, urgency, premium finishes). For each project, Kimoun selects the right channel based on four criteria.

Your budget — industrial for volume-based pricing, local craftsman when margin needs to stay tight on a short run. Your deadline — local Guadeloupe craftsman if you need it within days, industrial for a longer-lead order. Your quantity — industrial from a few dozen pieces for economies of scale, local craftsman for 1 to 30 pieces at a fair unit price. Your expected quality level — industrial for a reliable professional standard, local craftsman for custom finishes and premium requests.

You have one single point of contact from brief to delivery — whichever track you choose (full service or technical execution), whichever channel is mobilised behind the scenes.

Typical case

The sports association that nearly missed its tournament over 40 t-shirts

A scenario Kimoun encounters several times a year in Guadeloupe — sports clubs, cultural associations, company committees. Five scenes to understand how a tangible identity project falls through the cracks, and four steps to save it.

  1. The situation

A 40-member sports association organises its annual tournament — 80 participants expected, 3 local sponsors, press coverage. The chairman wants to dress the staff (t-shirts, referee bibs), signal the event (2 welcome pull-up banners, 2 sponsor beach flags, 100 stickers) and leave a lasting impression (branded merchandise).
  2. The trap

First quote from mainland France: €650 ex. VAT for textile only, delivery 4 to 5 weeks. The tournament is in 3 weeks. Second local quote: minimum 100 t-shirts (“we don’t do fewer”). Third quote: textile only, no pull-up banners or stickers. It would take 3 suppliers, 3 lead times, 3 invoices.
  3. The erosion

With 10 days to go, nothing has been ordered. The chairman is considering using generic white supermarket t-shirts. Sponsors are starting to ask when they’ll see their logo. The association’s image hinges on these details.
  4. The solo attempts

The chairman calls a printer in Baie-Mahault who promises “fast” — vague quote, no proof, unclear lead time. He tries an online platform for one-off textile — acceptable price but uncertain customs lead time. He considers scrapping the visual identity side entirely.
  5. The turnaround

Kimoun takes the full brief: 40 DTF t-shirts + 100 die-cut stickers + 2 pull-up banners 85×200 + 2 beach flags. Three partners mobilised — one industrial textile workshop (DTF, volume pricing), one local Guadeloupe craftsman (stickers delivered with 2 days’ urgency), one large-format workshop (pull-up banners and flags in carry cases, self-assembly). One single quote at €920 ex. VAT, 8 business days delivery, one shared proof — logo consistency guaranteed.

The Kimoun approach

No magic — a method refined on this type of mixed order.

  1. Full brief audit

30 minutes on the phone to surface every need (textile + paper + large format + merchandise). Many clients discover at this point that they should have planned stickers or a pull-up banner — Kimoun flags it before the quote.
  2. Single multi-workshop quote

One PDF listing every product, finish, quantity, price and shared lead time. Even when 3 partner workshops are involved, you see one document — and Kimoun absorbs the coordination.
  3. Shared print proof

One approved layout covers all products (logo, colours, typefaces). Visual consistency guaranteed between a t-shirt, a pull-up banner and a sticker — something no multi-supplier approach can promise.
  4. Grouped delivery

All products arrive together, on the same date, at the same location. Free delivery in Guadeloupe and Martinique or click & collect in Le Moule. For events, delivery coordinated with your setup (day before or morning of, depending on distance), large-format displays delivered in carry cases and self-assembly in minutes — no installation contractor to coordinate.
  5. File storage for future reprints

Once your order is delivered, Kimoun keeps your validated technical files (press layouts, templates, proofs, partner parameters). Six months or two years later, want to reprint the same t-shirts, flyers or pull-up banners? We go straight back into production — no new artwork, no new proof, no setup fees to redo. Only the production cost applies. Technical work already completed and approved is not rebilled.

Kimoun client reviews

What they say about the method

The reviews below cover web and identity projects, but describe the same method as for print: listening to the brief, a clear quote, delivery as promised.

  • Jessica🎨 Identité & communication

    ★★★★★

Our team is spread across Guadeloupe, Martinique, mainland France and London. Oliver supported us on the brand guidelines, the logo, the editorial charter and the site structure. His availability and method allowed us to wrap up the project and realign the team around clear, shared goals.

  • Karim🌐 Publication & visibilité

    ★★★★★

Our association website was slow and invisible on Google. Since Oliver took over the project, we rank first on Google in Guadeloupe and Martinique. All our members can now publish content, and we have since carried out other projects together with the same success.

Custom printing FAQ

Questions we get asked before you place an order

Concrete objections and questions from professionals, tourism businesses and event organisers in Guadeloupe and across the Caribbean before trusting Kimoun with their print.

6 to 12 business days depending on the product and quantity. Breakdown: business cards and simple flyers 6–8 days, brochures and large format 8–10 days, textile run 10–12 days, textile sample pack 5–8 days. For dated events (tournaments, openings), Kimoun schedules production around your date and guarantees on-time arrival. If you need express turnaround (under 5 days), it is sometimes possible with an express surcharge — ask explicitly.

Yes, that is a dedicated track of the offer. Kimoun works in two ways. Full service (graphic design, strategy, layout, production, delivery) for businesses without an in-house designer. And pure technical execution for communication agencies, freelance designers and brands that already have solid brand guidelines and print-ready files: you supply the files, Kimoun checks press compliance (CMYK, 300 dpi, bleed, crop marks), sends the proof, launches production via the appropriate network (industrial or local craftsman), delivers. No interference with your creative direction, no attempt to impose a design — pure, clean, fast execution at the right price.

Yes, and it is a clear part of the offer. Kimoun offers paid sample packs (3 to 5 textile pieces with different finishes, fabrics or weights) to compare in hand before committing to a run of 50, 100 or 500 pieces. For paper, practical quantities start from 50 to 100 units depending on the product. That said, for a single piece (1 t-shirt, 1 embroidered polo shirt), Kimoun is not competitive against consumer print-on-demand platforms — that is not our segment. Our sweet spot is short to large runs of 20 to 500+ pieces, with finish advice, proof, coordinated production and coordinated delivery.

DTF (Direct to Film): ideal for short runs (1 to 50 pieces), rich colour result, works on all textile types (cotton t-shirts, polyester, sweatshirts). Screen printing: best value for large runs (100+ pieces), excellent wash resistance, but limited number of colours. Embroidery: quality look on polo shirts, sweatshirts and caps, premium and durable; less suitable for thin t-shirts or highly detailed artwork. Kimoun always recommends the finish suited to your quantity, budget and expected result — before the quote.

Kimoun works with two complementary types of partners. Large-capacity industrial workshops (professional machinery, very wide textile and paper catalogue, competitive volume pricing) for orders that require quantity, a specific range or an aggressive price. Local craftsmen and printers in Guadeloupe (Grande-Terre and Basse-Terre) for urgent orders, quality finishes, short and medium runs, and anything that benefits from direct workshop contact. The split is made project by project, on four criteria: your budget, your deadline, your quantity and your expected quality level. In all cases, you only talk to Kimoun — advice, coordination, quality control and delivery are on us.

Free delivery across Guadeloupe (Grande-Terre and Basse-Terre) and Martinique — shipping costs are included in our indicative prices (Le Moule, Saint-François, Gosier, Pointe-à-Pitre, Les Abymes, Baie-Mahault, Basse-Terre, Sainte-Anne, Fort-de-France, Le Lamentin, Schœlcher, and surrounding towns). Click & collect available in Le Moule if you prefer to pick up your order. For Marie-Galante, Les Saintes and La Désirade, delivery via shuttle on quote (generally +€15 to €30 depending on volume). For other Caribbean destinations (Saint Martin, Dominica, Saint Lucia, Antigua and other islands), shipping is arranged on quote — contact us with your location and timeline.

That is the whole point of the print proof: before any production, Kimoun sends the final artwork for written approval. Colours, positioning, text, dimensions — nothing goes to print without your sign-off. If despite the proof a manufacturing defect appears on delivery (stain, cutting error, colour out of tolerance), the piece is remade free of charge. This rule is written into the quote.

Yes, on request. GOTS-certified organic cotton, recycled polyester (RPET), French Caribbean textile for some partners, water-based inks for screen printing. These options add a small premium to the unit cost (between +10% and +35% depending on the textile) but remain accessible for associations and brands with a sustainability commitment. Specify this in the initial brief.

If your printer delivers on quantities, lead times and finish, there is no reason to change — that is rare and valuable. Kimoun brings different value when: you need a single point of contact for several products (textile + paper + large format), you want short-run textile with no absurd minimum, you want neutral finish advice without being pushed towards a particular technique, or you are preparing an event where visual consistency across products is critical.
